Product description

Master links of types A and M and transition links of type B. Sizes are specified underApplication/Limitation.

Application/Limitation

Links for assembly of chain slings according to EN 818-4 and wire rope slings according to EN 13414-1 or slings to other approved standards for slings that are used on offshore containers.

The minimum required Breaking Force for a each component used in a lifting set shall be decided by the following equation from DNV's Certification Note 2.7-1:



A full description of the strength requirements for lifting sets on offshore containers are given in chapter 7.4 in the Certification Note.

All proof load tests during production to be carried out at the loads specified in EN 1677-4 for the dimension tested.

Based on a Manufacturing Survey Arrangement with DNV, the manufacturer may issue certificates for these links according to Certification Note 2.7-1, Annex 1, item 10.2.
