Main Changes in October 2011

Sec.2 Material Selection and Inspection Principles
— Table B1 has been amended substructure for derrick categorized as special in DNV-OS-C101.
Sec.3 Design Principles
— A new item B603 regarding short term analysis has been added and subsequent items have been renumbered.
— The terminology 'Survival condition' is introduced in accordance with DNV OS-C101.
— Operation condition is clarified and tables are updated.
Sec.6 Strength of Topside Structures
— A new column "Global design" has been added in Table B1 - Local static loads.
— Derric/not Derric removed from Table I1 Usage factor coefficients.
Sec.9 Accidental Conditions
— A new sub-section element B800, Loss of heading control, has been added.
Sec.11 Additional Provisions for Well Service and Drilling Units
— Reference to requirements for corrosion protection changed.
