   The environmental parameters specified in 200 to 1100, including any of their combinations, represent «average adverse» conditions to be fulfilled, which will cover the majority of applications on board units. Where the environmental strains will exceed those specified in 200 to 1100, the corresponding requirements shall be modified accordingly.

For screened cables, a special test set-up is to be used enabling the coupling into the cable screen.
Performance criterion A: The equipment under test (EUT) is to continue to operate as intended during and after the test. No degradation of performance or loss of function is allowed as defined in the relevant equipment standard and in the technical specification published by the manufacturer.
Performance criterion B: The EUT is to continue to operate as intended after the test.
